Research & Evaluation

MSG offers a tailored approach for each research study that we design, develop, and implement. By developing a deep understanding of client needs with a collaborative approach, we design robust evaluations that both answer client questions and provide actionable results. We incorporate client feedback at every stage of our engagement, constantly adapting and improving the process and ultimate results.

Our research and evaluation team members have quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods expertise. Our team includes statisticians and survey specialists, and individuals who are versed in culturally-responsive evaluation and developmental evaluation. Our team also includes program specialists and monitors, whose experience informs our implementation and process studies. We have substantial field experience including working with vulnerable communities. We often draw on the expertise of our colleagues in MSG’s Marketing & Communications division to provide innovative reporting and dissemination options to our clients. Similarly, we leverage the adult learning expertise of MSG’s Technical Assistance division when clients seek guidance on how to use evaluation findings to optimize the value of the evidence.
