May 29, 2019

BETHESDA, MD – Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) recently completed an evaluation project with the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Science Engineering and Education for Sustainability (SEES) portfolio of programs and received an ‘exceptional’ performance rating for quality, schedule and management in the Contract Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS). MSG received this rating, which is the Federal Government’s highest possible rating for performance, throughout the life of the five-year contract.

As a part of its work, MSG was tasked to evaluate the SEES portfolio of 17 programs serving diverse audiences. “The success on the project is a credit to our team’s ability to design flexible approaches, seek innovative solutions to challenges, and collaborate with project staff,” said Ying Zhang, Principal Investigator of the project. MSG Director of Research and Evaluation Anne Chamberlain stated that the rating “is a testament to MSG’s commitment and expertise in managing multi-faceted evaluations through well-conceived methodological approaches.”

MSG's range of research and evaluation capabilities include the use of multiple methods to address issues as diverse as program implementation, integrity and impact. For more information on MSG services and projects, visit MSG Research & Evaluation.
